Hiatus

In spite of the numerous visits on this blog, I need to take it down.

I’m sorry but I have to take a hiatus on this travel blog of mine for the meantime. Actually, the free account of wordpress just got a lot of downsides for me. So I think I’m just gonna take it from here. I won’t delete my blog as it represents my first out-of-town travel with my best friends. But then, I’ll continue telling travel stories on my tumblr account, which later on I can convert into my own domain. Of course, I’ll still maintain my photo blog, still on tumblr. Hehe. :)

I apologize for the inconvenience. Lol. :D

P.S. WordPress could have been better if not for the limitations on their layout and some other stuff. *sigh*

You must be mistaken. No, I’m NOT cursing our Naga-turned-Quezon Trip. All I’m saying is just it was soooo tiring, barely the getaway that was on my mind during our planning stage. But that was it. Hehe.

I just have to clear out that people in Quezon were nothing but kind and hospitable. They even offered us to stay at their place while they’d sleep over their relative’s house. Haha. Yes, too good to be true. We doubted them at first but as our trip went by, every people we met seemed to help us in one way or another with their sincere kind hearts.

The place, it was beautiful. The two beaches we’d gone through were paradise. We could have stayed longer if there were cottages available, water for cleaning up, and security for safety. Hehe.

It was awesome! We were surprised to accomplish such experience of getting lost and making impromptu decisions. We surely won’t plan to do the same but… we’ll see what (and where) our future trips will bring us next time. Hehe.

But above all, I love my company. Fun. Fearless. Spontaneous. VERY! (*_^) <3

Main Event: DAY 2

We started to walk.

And walk…

Spontaneity at its Best or Worst?

We immediately came up with an alternative getaway, led by the amazingly wonderful out-of-town planner Diane (who’s not in the picture, hehe). She contacted her colleagues and asked for help, i.e. to research about the route to an alternative destination we had in mind. We thought of a lot, really! We wanted to go North but chose to head South ‘cos it was nearer. Our Naga Tour became Baler Tour. Yup! We decided to go to Baler. Yani’s contact texted how to get there. So after we had our lunch, we hailed cabs and headed to Buendia.

So as friends who trusted Yani so much (haha), we followed whatever she said, even if she herself wasn’t sure of where we were going.

Round Air Trip

“We reject to inform you that we are going back to Manila.”

I never thought that was possible. All I knew was either the flight would push through OR get cancelled. By cancel, I meant beforehand cancel.

I experienced otherwise last week. We were already up there, Naga’s sky clouds. We were roaming around for maybe 20 minutes, waiting to land. Until it was announced that we would need to head back to Manila. WE U-TURNED!!! They said it was because of the thick clouds and stuff. I don’t know what the eff does that mean but, since then, we stopped liking clouds. :-/

Above pictures were grabbed from my friend Adz Zafe.

Off to Naga

I prepared my stuff last Thursday for the much-anticipated and much awaited out-of-town trip with my favorite friends in high school. And believe it or not, I was able to fit everything inside a backpack. Actually, I was even worried that I might forget a thing or two, so I revisited my things on Saturday morning before going to airport and removed and added some (un/necessary) stuff. I always unintentionally do that last-minute fixing.

Anyway, I slept as early as 9PM on Friday night to get up as early as I could the next morning. Apparently, the earliest I could get my ass off my bed was 5AM. Haha. After my final packing and quick shower, I woke my brother up for him to drive for me. Then I learned how late I was when they informed me how long the line was on the check-in area. My friends were all at the airport at exactly 7AM. I left my house at (uhm, not very exactly) 7. Our call time was 7. I (sometimes) suck at time. Better get a new watch!

When we finally met, we rushed to check in.I didn’t intend to check in my bag cos I wanted to maximize our time once we reached Naga Airport. Instead of waiting for our bags to arrive, we could have hailed a cab, right? I was determined to not give it to them. Until my friend said, “hihintayin mo parin kami kasi lahat kami magchecheck-in.” So eventually, I gave in. Boo! Haha. (Pero isa pa, ayoko din mahiwalay sa gamit ko, mahina ako sa detachment. Hehe.)
